A process of taking a composite video or photograph and making it into a usable format for DVD and/or web ready. We convert photographic slides, negatives, photographs, and VHS tape into digital products. We then provide DVD products such as photo albums or videos, CDs and VCD for your computer playback. Compatibility is seldom a problem but you should verify your DVD player is able to use our DVD products. Click Here for the current list. In the event that the DVD product will not play on your equipment, it can be returned for a VHS replacement.
Our services are complex and require top of the line equipment which we are proud to provide our customers.
- For digital photography we use a Canon GL2, 3CCD.
- For slide scanning we use a PF 6200 Pro scanner.
- For DVD burning we use a Sony DRX 5000.
- For DVD quality check we use a Pioneer Elite DV-45A.
- For VHS quality check we use a Sony SLV-N60.
- Our computers are pentium 4 with windows operating systems and intra-connected to a windows 2000 server.
- Our web photo sites are hosted on an Apache server with a Linux operating system.
- Software we use includes: Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photo Shop, Pinnacle Studio, Ulead Media Studio Pro, and Ulead Movie Factory.
Ensuring both a reliable product delivered to the customer and that all customer supplied products are returned to the right customer is a task we don't take lightly. Every customer is provided a tracking/processing number, a file, and a container with the customer name, address, and tracking number attached. Everything that has to do with a customer's order is kept in the container and filed with all details once the order is completed and shipped. All products are tested on our systems for video and audio playback. CDs and VCDs are tested on a windows operating systems computer. Once we are satisfied that the product is perfect it is labeled, and packaged together with all customer supplied materials. The package is then labeled and shipped through Federal Express and the shippers tracking number is emailed to the customer. Through each step of the process the customer's materials and product are carefully maintained.
To ensure customer privacy we retain no masters or copies of any customer supplied materials or products. Once we ship the final product all materials and data are returned and erased form our computers. The only information we retain is the customer file with all transactional information. We respect the privacy and confidence each customer places in us and ensure their security through this process.
For the majority of customers the following is common sense however, for the few who may otherwise wish to take advantage of our business, these terms and conditions apply to all.
We assume no liability for the condition of any materials supplied to us. This includes but is not limited to the condition of slides, negatives, tapes, prints, etc. Neither are we liable for the care of these materials while in transit or in our care. No liability is assumed for lost or damaged materials.
Please note: The quality of our production and conversion is only as good as the materials provided, i.e, if your negatives are water damaged then the digital images will show the same water damage.
